Product Care + General Info


Each work of art bears the trademark stamp Meihua assuring the highest standards of quality.
Hanging scrolls are delicate works of art and should be treated with care. Never fold the artwork. Folding can lead to permanent creasing.

Please note that hand-painted pieces are one-of-a-kind, and many of our releases are limited edition releases. We do not have additional stock to replace misused or damaged artworks caused by improper use or storage. If your product arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the shipment and provide photos of the damage. We’ll be happy to make it right!

Keep the artwork away from direct sunlight and areas of high humidity. Framing under glass is recommended for maximum protection of fine art. Avoid touching the art area with bare skin to prevent oil transfer onto the painting surface.

Always carefully and slowly roll and unroll the artwork.

  • When rolling the artwork, it is recommended to lay the entire artwork on a flat, hard surface and roll up tightly and carefully from the bottom end.
  • When unrolling the artwork, it is recommended to unroll fully on a hard, flat surface. Unroll slowly and avoid sudden movements of the artwork.
  • When storing your Meihua Studio artwork, always do so securely rolled up in the Meihua tube. Store in a cool, dry area away from sunlight and humidity.
    Meihua Studio is not responsible for damage to the artwork caused by improper use or storage of your product.

We work closely with artists in the Guangxi, China region. Our high-quality prints are carefully crafted in Guangdong, China region. We pride ourselves on making traditional Chinese art available in new markets!

Orders + Shipping

Pre-orders are your chance to be certain you’ll receive the new release. After taking preorders, we may not have additional stock remaining after the pre-order ends and shipments arrive. This is especially true of our limited-edition releases. If you love an artwork, reserve yours with pre-order asap!
Meihua Studio is currently taking pre-orders for the “Bloom in Adversity” release! Pre-orders will ship 6-8 weeks after the date you place the order.
We currently ship to the US! Kindly note that we do not ship to PO boxes, APO or FPO at this time. Please contact support@meihuastudio.com to indicate your interest for shipping to a country outside of the US.

Please contact support@meihuastudio.com if you want to cancel or update an order. In most cases we may be able to assist, but in some cases cancellations or changes may not be possible. But, not to worry! We offer 30-day worry-free returns.

First of all, our sincerest apologies! Please send your order number and a photo of the defective or incorrect piece within 7 days of delivery to support@meihuastudio.com. We’ll be happy to resolve it!

We are not currently accepting orders for individual custom artworks. We encourage you to join our email list to be notified of our limited-edition product releases. We’re sure you’ll find something you love! If you do have interest in ordering a custom artwork, please email
support@meihuastudio.com so that we can assess demand for this service.

Return + Exchanges

We offer easy 30-day returns for all customers. Before getting started, please check below to see if your item is eligible!

All returns must:

  • Have no signs of wear or damage
  • Be in original condition
  • Be in all original packaging (tube and certificates included).
  • Please return your order back to us in the original packaging it came in. Returns not returned in all original packaging will be assessed a 10% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. For customers in the US, should you choose to use our Meihua return shipping label to mail back your return, a return shipping fee of $8 will be deducted from your refund. Refunds will be credited to the original method of payment.

    Should the returned item not meet the above return guidelines, Meihua reserves the right to deny a return and have the return re-shipped to customers.

    Please note that if you were charged a shipping fee at the time of purchase, original shipping fees are not refundable.

    Note: Items purchases through a third-party vendor (outside of MeihuaStudio.com) must be returned through the company it was purchased from.

    Due to the limited nature of our products, we do not currently offer exchanges as we cannot guarantee availability. If you’d like to exchange for a different product, please place a new order.

Email support@meihuastudio.com to initiate your return. Please include your order number and list out the item(s) you wish to return. To help us further iterate and improve upon on products, in your email we would love to learn about why you want to initiate a return.

US customers have an option of using a pre-paid return shipping label. Use of the pre-paid label will deduct $8 from your refund total.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. US based customers can request a pre-paid shipping label for $8 deducted from the refund total.

From the day your return parcel is delivered to our warehouse, it takes up to 10-15 business days for our returns team to process. Once processed, we will send you a confirmation notice on the return!
